Dixie Deer Classic Trophy Entry Rules
Trophy must be presented to D.D.C. officials during show hours
designated for Trophy Entry.
Entrant must supply all requested information for completion of entry
form. Falsified information will disqualify entrant for any prizes or awards. Entrant must
be willing to submit to polygraph testing if requested by show officials.
Trophies must have been obtained within full compliance of all game laws
of the state, and must comply with Boone & Crockett guidelines of Fair Chase.
Previous Award Winners are not eligible for awards during current show.
Any trophy removed from the show prior to the Awards Ceremony forfeits
any awards or prizes.
All entries will be scored and recorded in the Dixie Deer Classic
records.
An entry will usually receive only one award.
All decisions made by the D.D.C. Scoring Committee will be final.
Category Award winners will be determined by the highest Boone & Crockett
score, with the exception of the Best In Show.
Boone & Crockett Fair Chase Statement
To make use of the following methods shall be deemed as UNFAIR CHASE and
unsports-manlike, and any trophy obtained by use of such means is disqualified from entry
for Awards.
Spotting or herding game from the air, followed by landing in its
vicinity for pursuit.
Herding or pursuing game with motor-powered vehicles.
Use of electronic communications for attracting, locating or observing
game, or guiding the hunter to such game.
Hunting game confined by artificial barriers, including escape-proof
fencing; or hunting game transplanted solely for the purpose of commercial shooting
